Abdollah is Reservoir Engineering Adviser at Apache Corporation with the focus on conventional assets. Before that, he was working for Hess Corporation in Houston working EOR for unconventional asset. He also worked as senior researcher at Maersk Oil Research and Technology Center (MORTC) in Qatar.
His work at MORTC consisted of acid stimulation optimization for carbonate rock, and horizontal well dynamic wellbore modeling simulation. Prior moving to Qatar he worked for HESS Corporation in Houston for almost four years as senior reservoir engineering and worked on deepwater Gulf of Mexico and West Africa projects.
Abdollah earned his B.S., M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Shiraz University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California. During his Ph.D. he worked at Chevron Corporation as part of the joint University of Southern California and Chevron Center of Excellence for Research and Academic Training named The Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies.
